Your hands work hard for you so be sure to pamper them at least once a week. Follow these tips to keep your hands soft and supple.
Creating natural home manicure Delights:
Step One: Creating a natural hand soak
2 Cups of Water
1 Tablespoon Chamomile Tea leaves
1 Tablespoon of Green Tea Leaves
1 Tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil (purchase this from any health food store)
Boil water and pour into bowl and add tea leaves. Let this mixture steep for about 15 minutes then add sweet almond oil. Soak your hands in the herbal bath for at least 15 minutes. Pat your hands dry then use your clean thumb name to gently push back each cuticle following the shape of your cuticle. (Please remember that it is harmful to cut your cuticles as will leave your nail bed unprotected and prone to infection.)
Step Two: Creating natural sugar & nut hand scrub
2 Tablespoons of Almonds (crushed)
2 Tablespoons of Sugar (preferably brown sugar)
4 Tablespoons of Sweet Almond Oil (see above)
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Then scoop mixture into your hands and rub in circular motions vigorously all over hands paying special attention to rough areas. Be sure to get in between fingers, both sides of your hands and nail beds. Rinse then repeat if necessary. This should leave your hands feeling soft and refreshed.
Step Three: Moisturizing Hand Cream
Now use your favorite hand cream to protect and moisturize the newly exposed layer skin. Feel free to add about two teaspoons of sweet almond oil (for every 4 oz of cream) to add extra moisturizing ability.
YOUR HANDS WILL THANK YOU FOR GIVING THEM THE SPECIAL ATTENTION THEY DESERVE!
You will be amazed at how refreshed and revitalized your hands will feel. Make a conscious effort to pamper your hands at least once per week.
